We had everything crossed hoping for good weather and yes the rain stayed away for a much better open day. Thank you to everyone who donated produce, plants, books, cakes and in particular John for showing us his wood-turning skills and providing plot holders and visitors with some very useful garden implements.

As you are probably aware some of the money raised from this event will go to the National Allotment Garden Trust, so thank you again.

We are looking forward to the next date in the Longbarrow diary which is our show day. Please get involved and support this event, it is open to all plot holders. It’s good fun, so lets see more entries this year please. More details will follow soon.
